Burnished Bloom Vessel
Description
Burnished Bloom Vessel is a one-of-a-kind porcelain sculpture inspired by unfolding petals, molten earth tones, and organic coastal movement. The form rises from a narrow pedestal base into dramatic hand-shaped folds that twist and bloom outward with movement from every angle.
Layered glazes in burnished caramel, smoky umber, ivory, stone, and muted blue-gray flow naturally across the porcelain surface, creating depth reminiscent of weathered minerals, windswept cliffs, and dried botanical forms.
The sculptural rim was individually manipulated by hand, allowing the vessel to feel both delicate and architectural. Its silhouette shifts continuously depending on the viewer’s perspective, making it equally suited for pedestal styling, shelf display, or gallery presentation.
This piece functions as collectible ceramic art and is intended primarily as a sculptural object.
