Burnished Tide Vessel

Burnished Tide brings together a classic vessel silhouette and an expressive, sculptural porcelain bloom. Its richly layered surface moves through deep bronze, burnished gold and earthy brown, creating an aged, almost metallic appearance that shifts with the light.

The restrained body gives way dramatically at the neck, where porcelain opens into a broad, hand-shaped form reminiscent of both a flower in full bloom and the rolling edge of a wave. The glaze gathers and breaks across every ridge and fold, highlighting the movement of the porcelain and giving the surface remarkable depth.

There is an elemental quality to Burnished Tide—earth and water meeting in a form that feels simultaneously ancient and contemporary. From a distance, its burnished surface creates a quiet, sophisticated presence; up close, the variations in glaze and sculpted porcelain reveal the individuality of the piece.
