Fossil Tide feels as though it was shaped by time rather than hands.
Hand-formed in porcelain, this one-of-a-kind sculptural vessel features an undulating organic edge surrounding an extraordinary surface of smoky charcoal, mineral green, weathered bronze and warm amber.
Layers of glaze have reacted in the kiln to create intricate cellular patterns reminiscent of fossilized coral, ancient stone and mineral deposits left behind by retreating water. Along the raised edges, warmer amber tones emerge, emphasizing every fold and movement of the porcelain.
The result is a surface that invites a closer look—complex, unpredictable and impossible to reproduce exactly.
Measuring approximately 10” × 8”, Fossil Tide has enough presence to stand alone as a sculptural object while remaining beautifully scaled for a console, coffee table, shelf or collected grouping.
