Gilded Rift explores the beauty created where fracture, erosion and transformation meet.

Standing approximately 12 inches tall, this one-of-a-kind porcelain vessel combines a strong architectural silhouette with an expressive, organic opening. The neck rises from a substantial rounded form before unfolding into an irregular sculpted rim reminiscent of a bloom, weathered stone or a landscape altered by time.

Layers of deep indigo, midnight blue, mineral green and earthy bronze move across the porcelain surface, shifting dramatically with the light. Intentionally textured areas expose a rawer, stone-like character beneath the glossy glaze.

Across the body, hand-applied gold luster traces a network of delicate fissures—golden fault lines that transform the surface into a landscape of its own. Additional touches of gold along the sculpted rim catch the light and emphasize the movement of the porcelain.

The contrast between polished glaze, rugged texture and luminous gold gives Gilded Rift a sense of both age and preciousness—as though something weathered has been uncovered and made beautiful again.
