Gilded Current is a collection of one-of-a-kind, hand-formed porcelain vessels where flowing color meets hand-applied gold.
Each piece begins with porcelain shaped into an organic, undulating form. Layers of glaze move freely across the surface in washes of blush, violet, turquoise, indigo and mineral green before individual lines of genuine gold luster are applied by hand.
The piece then returns to the kiln for an additional firing, permanently transforming the luster into brilliant metallic gold.
No two Gilded Current vessels share the same form, glaze movement or gold pattern. Each is an individual work within the collection.
